Abstract

Development of lubricating oils which would permit extended periods between major overhauls on natural gas fueled engines has lagged. Over the past several years a new oil has been developed which extends the overhaul period to twice that required by previous oils. The resulting reduction in maintenance costs for various types of engines is studied.
